Chiyoko Akasaki
Chiyoko Akasaki, 87, of Paauilo, formerly of Mililani, Oahu, died Dec. 15, 2012, at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Kohala, she was a retired nurse.
Private services were held.
She is survived by sons, Jerome (Karen) Akasaki of Paauilo, Clayton (Susan) Akasaki of Honolulu; brother, Takeo (Mildred) Nakama of Honolulu; sister, Doris Horikawa of Honolulu; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
