Barbara Souza
Barbara Jane Kananiopua Souza, 73, of Kailua-Kona died Jan. 28, 2013, at Kona Community Hospital. Born May 2, 1939, in Honolulu, she was an administrator at Kamehemeha Schools and member of Daughters of Hawaii and various community committees.
Friends may call at noon Feb. 9 at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery in Kailua-Kona for a memorial service. Family requests casual attire be worn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Daughters of Hawaii.
She is survived by husband, Max Souza of Kailua-Kona; sons, Brad (Koko) Cupp of Oahu, Donald (Sarita) Cupp of Kailua-Kona; four grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
