Police investigating Waiakea Center burglary

Police are investigating an early morning burglary at Waiakea Center.

A business alarm at the center sent in an alarm call at 1:44 a.m. Wednesday. Responding officers saw a man fleeing from the area and discovered someone had already entered one of the businesses.

Patrol officers established a perimeter around the industrial area and arrested a suspect at 2:20 a.m., an 18-year-old man with no permanent address.
