Kona teen reported missing

Big Island police are searching for a 17-year-old Kona boy who was reported missing.

Christopher Borst was last seen Aug. 10 in Kailua-Kona, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He is described as Caucasian, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 175 pounds with a tattoo of woven lauhala with an island chain on his right chest and an oval birthmark on his left waistline.

He is known to frequent body board surf spots, according to police.
