Firefighters extinguished a house fire in Kawaihae early Tuesday morning.
According to the Fire Department, firefighters saw flames inside the house, on Kalooloo Drive, after a call just before 5 a.m. Tuesday. The fire was out at 5:15 a.m.
Firefighters found no one inside. A damage estimate was not available Tuesday. The fire’s cause remained under investigation.
