Garrick Scott Simmons, 19, of Waimea pleaded no contest Dec. 3 to driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. He was sentenced to pay $849 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Asbil Latrik, 23, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Dec. 5 to driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance and driving with an improper license. He was sentenced to pay $1,021 in fines and fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time and his license was revoked.

Jodie Anne Davis, 20, of Ashburn, Va., pleaded no contest Dec. 6 to driving under the influence of alcohol. She was sentenced to pay $587 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. Her license was also revoked.

William Edward Delenia, 19, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Dec. 6 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $687 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Barry J. Lozier, 51, of Hilo pleaded guilty Dec. 6 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

James Louis Nagy, 64, of Kailua-Kona pleaded no contest Dec. 6 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $437 on fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. His license was also revoked.

Terri L. Bermudez, 45, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Dec. 6 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant, driving with an improper license and failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance. She was sentenced to pay $1,521 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course and ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment. She must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time, and her license was revoked.

Bradley John K. Kanoa, 42, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Dec. 6 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $587 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Kevin Kelii Meno, 41, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Dec. 6 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant, disobeying police officers and driving with an improper license. He was sentenced to pay $1,011 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course and ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time, and his license was revoked.

Lloyd Kekoa K. Starkey, 35, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Dec. 6 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Clifford Chow, 43, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Dec. 7 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and driving with an improper license. He was sentenced to pay $474 in fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time.

Ramiro G. Magana, 23, of Kona pleaded no contest Dec. 10 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $562 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Emmanuel Ramirez, 28, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Dec. 13 to driving under the influence of alcohol and consuming or possessing an intoxicating liquor while operating a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to pay $824 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Jose Guadalupe Ramirez-Herrera, 43, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Dec. 13 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and driving with an improper license. He was sentenced to pay $824 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. His license was also revoked.

Eduardo Tacadana Gaspar, 59, of Kealakekua pleaded no contest Dec. 13 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $437 in fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
