Second-graders learn water safety

Kealakehe Elementary School second-graders were treated to a presentation by Keahi Robins of Hawaii Lifeguard Surf Instructors on their last day of school. Robins, a lifeguard and founder of Surf Day with Aloha, gave the students water safety advice. Surf Day with Aloha teams with Manaolana Hope Inc. to provide a day on the ocean for people with disabilities. Trish Doyle, right, founder of Manaolona Hope, and her son, Clint, left, led students in art lessons. Special to West Hawaii Today
