Parker students make a difference

Parker School students participated in the school’s annual Make a Difference Day at various community locations Oct. 26 in celebration of national Make a Difference Day. Students in grades six through 12 were divided into several groups to provide work to benefit such organizations as Pua Mau Botanical Garden, Kahilu Theatre, Waimea Trails and Greenways, Anna Ranch, Kohala Watershed, Parker Ranch, Hospice, and Parker School. Here, students clear debris from the stream for Waimea Trails and Greenways for Make a Difference Day. Special to West Hawaii Today
