Leonard Naboa Sr.
Leonard “Nato” Naboa Sr., 60, Milolii died June 5, 2013, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Oct. 6, 1952, in Pahala, he was a heavy equipment operator for Goodfellows Brothers Construction Co., worked for Willock’s Construction, E.M. Rivera & Sons Inc. and Ka‘u Agribusiness Co. Inc. and member of Operator Engineers Local No. 3.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. June 15 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Pahala for a 9 a.m. Mass. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.
He is survived by wife, Loretta Naboa of Honomalino; sons, Mervin (Heather) Naboa of Naalehu, Leonard (Claire) Naboa Jr. of Arlington, Wash., Francisco Naboa of Milolii; daughters, Ievan (Mark) Henriques of Keaau, Olana (Casey) Kaiwi of Sasebo, Japan, Lydia (Kyle Kapuniai) Naboa of Honaunau; parents, Thomas and Felisa Kaniho of South Point; brothers, Lebert (Leann) Naboa of Ocean View, Lambert (Eileen) Naboa of Discovery Harbor, Dean (T.C.) Kaniho of South Point; sisters, Leinell Naboa and Leivanell (Dennis) Salmo, both of Pahala, Thyone Kaniho of Waimea, Leinette (Greg) Noritaki of Bainbridge, Wash., Thomasina (Lincoln) Beck of Kealakekua, Myra (Alfred) Keanu of Kamaoa; 12 grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
