Concerts by jazz guitarist Andrea Razzauti, violin maestro Adonijah Imgrund, keyboardist Salvador Godinez and percussionist Jesse Seymour are slated Oct. 11 at Kahilu Theatre in Waimea; Oct. 12 at the Kilauea Theater in Volcano; and Oct. 18 at the Honokaa People’s Theatre.
Born and raised in Tuscany, Italy, Razzauti’s musical versatility ranges from classical to contemporary jazz. His compositions are rich with emotions, melodic lyricism and a poetic feel. His new album, “Front Street,” was produced by Grammy Award-winner Paul Brown and features Grammy Award-winning jazz vocalist Patti Austin.
Proceeds from the concerts benefit the Puna Community Medical Center in Pahoa. Tickets will be sold for $20 by center volunteers and at the event. For more information, call Steve Sparks at 965-7061.
The nonprofit Puna Community Medical Center provides health care to Puna residents. Many patients have no insurance or money but are treated anyway. Fundraisers such as these help cover expenses.
