Howard Nakahara
Howard Yukio Nakahara, 60, of Kailua, Oahu, died Feb. 9, 2013, at Maluhia Hospital. Born April 14, 1952, in Kohala, he was a retired store manager for Ben Franklin and Blind Vendors Hawaii and member of Tenrikyo and Kalakaua Gym.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. March 16 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 10 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Raquel Nakahara of Kailua, Oahu; daughter, Heather Nakahara of Kailua, Oahu; brother, Richard (Mary Rose) Nakahara of Hawi; two uncles; numerous aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.
