Talk story slated today at Gallery Meld

Gallery Meld presents a talk story with Hawaii artists Daniel Sheinfeld and Bryce Groark today.

Groark, a filmmaker and photographer, will talk about his passion that has taken him to more than 40 countries to work on projects with National Geographic, TIME Magazine and IMAX. Groark will share his stories and display his art.

Sheinfeld is an architect and conceptual artist based on Hawaii Island. He will discuss how his exploration of the juxtaposed technological and natural realms inspires him to manifest impossible thoughts as unusual and striking objects. These reflect his inclination to capture infinite resolution, frequencies and textures within a single static frame.

Doors open at 7 p.m.; the first presentation is slated at 7:30. The gallery is located at 74-5617 Pawai Place, next to Kona Brewing Co. Light refreshments will be served. Special pricing will be offered on selected pieces during the event.
