Voter registration deadline is Monday

Monday is the final day to register to vote in the upcoming general election, according to the state Office of Elections.

Completed voter registration forms must be turned in to the county clerk by 4:30 p.m. Applicants who choose to mail voter registration should have it postmarked by Saturday.

Wikiwiki Voter Registration Forms are available at U.S. post offices, public libraries, phone books, Office of Elections website, county clerk offices and most state agencies.

You must be a U.S. citizen, a Hawaii resident and at least 18 years old to vote. Currently registered voters that have changed their name or moved since the last election should reregister before the voter deadline.

The general election is Nov. 6. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
