No fireworks means no fireworks. If you choose to celebrate, please go to those areas designated for the activities as listed in the newspaper. Enjoy them in the sky — not on residential streets. The Kona Marshallese Communities Association would like to thank the many people who helped to make our entry in the recent Kona Christmas Parade a success. Our float, which won second place in the best in song category, was the first parade entry in the state by a Marshallese group.
Most of all, we want to thank the community of West Hawaii for its warm and enthusiastic response to our float.
