A free training session on the basics of QuickBooks for farmers and food producers will be held on Jan. 25 from 4-6 p.m. at North Hawaii Education &Research Center in Honokaa. Space is limited.
The accounting and bookkeeping computer program helps businesses track income and expenses, create invoices and statements, and produce financial statements.
The workshop will help farmers and food producers decide if the software is right for them, and provide an overview of federal crop insurance programs.
