Takeyoshi “Shine” Fujimoto, 85, of Ninole died June 19, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Aug. 14, 1928, in Ninole, he was a retired machine operator employed by the former Hilo Coast Sugar Co., member of the Senior Citizens Bowling League and member of the Honohina Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.

Friends may call at 3 p.m. June 25 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 4 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

He is survived by wife, Hatsuno Fujimoto of Ninole; daughters, Audrey Asato and Pearl (Ronald) Yamamoto, both of Hilo; sisters, Chizuko Honma of Paauilo, Tomoe Oketani of Honokaa, Doris (Hisa) Wakahiro and Janet (Paul) Togawa, both of Los Angeles; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Jesus Bartolome

Jesus “John” Marcos Bartolome, 68, of Pahoa died May 29, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Dec. 24, 1945, in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a retired proprietor and farmer.

Friends may call at 5 p.m. June 27 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may call again at 8 a.m. June 28 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 10:30 a.m. services. Burial is at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by wife, Estrella Bartolome of Pahoa; son, Gilbert Bartolome of Pahoa; daughters, Marylou (Romy) Bartolome Laeda of Hilo, Elisa (Edmund) Manning of Las Vegas; brothers, Daniel (Margarita) Bartolome of Pahoa, Florencio (Leticia) Bartolome of Las Vegas; hanai sister, Cecilia Marcos of Keaau; five grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Roselani Heneralau

Roselani “Nani” Heneralau, 68, of Kailua-Kona died May 13, 2014, at her residence. Born Dec. 30, 1945, in Hilo, she was a retired baker at both the Keauhou and Kailua-Kona KTA stores, a presser at the former Kona Dry Cleaning, a coffee picker, proprietor of Rose’s Child Care, a volunteer for the March of Dimes and member of American Business Women’s Association.

Friends may call at noon June 27 at the family’s residence for visitation. A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. June 28 at OTEC Beach in Kailua-Kona. For more information, call Joshleen Baker at 333-5919. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

Herbert Hailama Hall Anakalea Sr., 69, of Kailua-Kona died May 29, 2014, in Las Vegas. Born May 15, 1945, in Hilo, he was a heavy equipment operator and member of Operating Engineer Local 3 and Legacy Church.

Friends may call at 8:30 a.m. June 28 at the Kealakehe High School gym in Kailua-Kona, for a 10 a.m. service. Burial follows at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.

John Dill

John Edward Kaukali Dill, 38, of Hilo died May 29, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Orlando, Fla., he was a construction manager for Rider Levett Bucknall, worked for the state Department of Land and Natural Resources-Department of Aquatic Research, former state Contractors License Board member, former chairman for the County of Hawaii Board of Ethics, Hawaii Island Contractors Association, County of Hawaii Environmental Management Board and member of Heritage Christian Fellowship.

A service will be held at 4 p.m. June 28 at the Wainaku Executive Center in Hilo. Family requests aloha attire be worn.

Raymond Gaughen

Raymond Thomas Gaughen, 69, of Waikoloa died June 15, 2014, at his residence. Born July 11, 1944, in Honolulu, he was a retired heavy equipment operator, gradesetter and member of AFL-CIO Operating Engineers Local Union 3.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. June 28 at Waikoloa Community Church. A reception will follow. Scattering of ashes will be at Anaehoomalu Bay. Family requests casual or aloha attire be worn. Robert Hamora, 85, of Kukuihaele died June 14, 2014, at his home. Born in Kalopa, he was a retired harvesting supervisor with the former Paauhau Sugar Co., member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa and a Korean War Army veteran.

Catherine Clark Wible, 71, of Pahoa died June 12, 2014, at her home. Born Dec. 20, 1942, in Washington, she was a homemaker.
