Alternating single lane closures remain in effect 24/7 on the Umauma stream bridge on Hawaii Belt Road, near mile marker 16 in Hakalau, for bridge repairs, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Vehicles traveling over the bridge must adhere to a 20 mph speed limit, according to the department.
Trucks and trailers that exceed the statutory size-weight limits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis upon application of their respective oversize-overweight vehicle permits, according to the state. The maximum width for any vehicle with permit passing over the bridge is 12 feet.
