Surf observations, hazard information now available via phone
Surf observations and hazard information is now available via phone for all areas of the state, according to the National Weather Service in Honolulu.
Only the latest observations will be played on each recording for each island. Each set of observations will be removed during the overnight period so that more accurate information can be added in the morning.
Big Islanders wanting to listen to the latest valid surf observations, including any high surf warnings or advisories in effect, should call 935-8555 and then select Option 7.
