Hawaii receiving $2 million to help homeless, at-risk veterans

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded two Hawaii community organizations a total of $2,118,224 in grants to help homeless and at-risk veterans and their families, announced U.S. Rep. Colleen Hanabusa, a member of the House Armed Service Committee.

Catholic Charities Hawaii will be receiving a $1,101, 224 grant and the United States Veterans Initiative will be receiving a $1,017,000 grant.
