Firefighters extinguished a fire in the L&L Drive Inn at the Keauhou Shopping Center late Tuesday evening.
Firefighters extinguished a fire in the L&L Drive Inn at the Keauhou Shopping Center late Tuesday evening.
Security personnel at the center noticed smoke and flames coming out of top of the restaurant and called 911 around 10:20 p.m., Hawaii Fire Department officials said. Firefighters found heavy smoke found in Kenichi Pacific next door. The fire was limted to the stove and kitchen area and took about 20 minutes to extinguish.
A fire inspector was called to the scene to investigate.
