We are pleased to announce that Waikoloa Dry Forest Initiative will be hosting the Wiliwili Festival this September 14th. The festival will be held at Quarry Road, outside of Waikoloa Village, from 10am to 3pm. Admission is FREE!
The Wiliwili Festival will be a fun, free educational event for all ages. We will be hosting forest tours, workshops, and kid’s activities in addition to promoting awareness of Hawaiian dry forest ecosystems, the species that live within them and the cultural, ecologic and intrinsic value of our native forests. There will also be food vendors, music, raffles, and prizes.
Forest tours will be given at 8:30am and 2:30pm. Limited to 20 people per tour. To sign up early, contact Jen Lawson (808) 339-2142 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Non-profit and educational organizations are welcome to display at the festival, contact us for more information or to register. Interested in volunteering? Contact us.
