Watercolor Class with Wanda McManus
In this 5 week series, students will meet in different spots around the local community to learn basic drawing and painting techniques to create their own watercolor paintings of the local landscape as well as it’s flora and fauna. Students will learn to identify the best working materials and how to mix colors and use their paints. They will explore techniques in the drawing and composition of architecture, plants, water, landscapes, light and perspective in their work, as well as collage and fish print. The group will paint in locations including the Donkey Mill Art Center, Paul’s Place in Halualoa and The Church of the Living Rock Break.
