Walking Meditation in the Wild
Experience the beauty of the land on these silent hikes, ongoing, the first Saturday of each month, rain or shine (unless weather particularly inclement). The morning begins with a few minutes of silent meditation followed by a brief introduction to mindfulness and silent walking meditation. Different route each month, and not strenuous. The meditation concludes with a few minutes of silence together followed by refreshments. Bring a hat, hiking shoes/boots, sunscreen, bottled water, a towel or cushion for rest stops in nature, raingear, mosquito repellent and small hiking backpack if desired.
