Dr. Janet McDonald of the FDA will present a current overview of two proposed regulations:

"Standards for Growing, Harvesting, Packing, and Holding of Produce for Human Consumption"

"Current Good Manufacturing Practices and Hazard Analysis and Risk-Based Preventative Controls for Human Food"

In addition to the basic provisions of the propsoed rules, information wil be provided on exemptions, proposed compliance dates, how to submit comments to the FDA, education and training, and how to learn more about the FDA.
