Honokaa People's Theatre is celebrating Prince Kuhio day with two special films from Joan Lander and Puhipau of the independent production company Na Maka o ka 'Aina (“the eyes of the land”), focusing on the land and people of Hawai'i and the Pacific.  Showing at 6pm is "Mauna Kea: Temple Under Seige" and at 7:30 pm "Act of War: Overthrow of the Hawaiian Nation."  The director will be in attendance for a Q&A.  Event is free and open to the public, donations to the director for travel and costs gratefully accepted.
