John Ferdico recently moved to Kailua Kona from Oakland, California, where he kept a studio for sixteen years. He exhibited his photographs and photography-based sculpture throughout the United States, and recently had his first exhibition in Hawaii, Artists of Hawai’i 2013 at the Honolulu Museum of Art.
Laurel Schultz recently moved to the Big Island from Seattle. She taught photography at the University of Washington and The Photographic Center Northwest in Seattle. She was an Emerging Artist in Residence at the Pilchuck Glass School in 2010, and a Hauberg Fellow there 2011. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States.
Alvis Upitis is a working commercial photographer with 40 years experience shooting for Fortune 500 Companies and top advertising agencies worldwide. He has a BS and MFA in photography and taught photo art and technique at the college level for 10 years.
Eric Edwardsdeveloped digital imaging products, technology and intellectual property at Sony, and led development of international standards in digital photography, digital cinema, JPEG and MPEG.
