Bring your cat, dog, parakeet and hamster to the hospital’s front lawn for this free, fun event to honor your four legged friends. This event was created to honor and include dogs from the hospital’s Pet Therapy program.
The influence pets have on our lives is profoundly spiritual. So it’s only fitting we bless our beloved furry friends. This event is an opportunity for owners to express their appreciation for the joy and companionship animals provide and will be conducted by Reverend Franco Acquaro with Amida Hawaii, a Pureland Buddhist Church. Pet food donations are encouraged and will benefit the Hawaii Island Humane Society. For more information, please contact Laurie Edmondson, NHCH Event Coordinator, at 881-4425.
