On Thursday, June 15th from 3:00PM-4:00PM, the Kailua Kona Public Library is hosting an informational program for teens entering 6th through 12th grade on man’s long history of interaction with horses. Learn about horses and explore volunteer opportunities to care for or work with them as presented by Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii-Kona. Calypso and Peaches will be there too and shoes are recommended if you want to lead or groom the horses. Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult.
