Living Arts Gallery in Hawi, Hawaii invites the public to the artist reception for Ginger Anne Sandell on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 7 pm. Sandell works primarily in oil both plein air and in her studio. Several new works are shown in the exhibit. Ginger paints in an impressionist, abstract style where line, color, and form may vary from the more realistic portrayal of the world. Her art is “other worldly”. She wants the visual image to connect with people emotionally and hopes to bring beauty, wonder, and joy to the observer. In our fast paced modern society, with the focus on technology, Ginger hopes that her art will remind others of the beauty of a sunset, a child’s laughter, and the other simple joys in life. She feels that creativity has both a tactile and spiritual nature. Her art is her meditation
Drinks and pupus will be served. Hope to see you there. Living Arts Gallery is located at 55-3435 Akoni Pule Highway and open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
