Kaulana Iokia works with Hui Ho‘omalu, which is a program focused on helping children find loving homes in West Hawaii. Her work includes making presentations about foster care, assisting with support groups for families, and sharing with others the many different ways they can get involved and help make difference.
Lani Bowman has been a resource caregiver for children in foster care for over 25 years. During that time she has cared for many children and it has been an incredible journey. Come and hear her share why she decided to care for children in foster care, some of the challenges she faced, her successes, and why she continues to do it.
