The annual meeting of the Friends of the Libraries, Kona will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 29th 2013 on the Kailua-Kona Library Lanai.
F.O.L.K. is a nonprofit organization that seeks to support the Kona libraries of Kailua-Kona and Kealakekua with funds for state budget shortfalls, educational and entertainment programs, community summer reading programs, visiting authors, magazine subscriptions, CD’s, DVD’s, new book purchases, and recently the complete carpet replacement at the Kailua Kona Library.
2012 Annual reports from all board members and directors will be given, and new business may be introduced by members of good standing in attendance.
