The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce, along with sponsors Kohala Coast Resort Association, Hawaii Island Realtors, West Hawaii Association of Realtors and West Hawaii Today, will host two candidate forums in July.

On July 29, KKCC will hold a Governor/Lt. Governor candidate forum. The Governor forum will host democratic candidates Governor Neil Abercrombie and Senator David Ige.  This forum will take place at Kealakehe High School with Lt. Governor candidates from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. and Governor candidates from 6:30 – 8 p.m. Note: There will be a second Governor forum before the General election in November with all candidates.
