The Martin Luther King Jr. birthday committee is gearing up for the 35th anniversary birthday commemoration, which will take place at noon Jan. 17 with a community celebration, program and potluck. This event is free and open to the public.
The Martin Luther King Jr. birthday committee is gearing up for the 35th anniversary birthday commemoration, which will take place at noon Jan. 17 with a community celebration, program and potluck. This event is free and open to the public. The celebration will take place at the Old Kona Airport Park Makeo pavilion.
The celebration will consist of art displays, songs, and music by local schools and community.
