Longtime Kona educator pens children’s book
Former West Hawaii resident and teacher Sandy Cameli has penned a new children’s book.
Cameli taught for three decades at Kealakehe and Konawaena schools on the Big Island and wrote “A Happy a Day Keeps the Grouchies Away” before moving to Oahu.
The book has already been shared with teachers and students statewide to help learners identify positives in life rather than focusing on the negatives. ■
