Keck Observatory launches donation drive for volcano victims

Beginning today through May 29, Keck Observatory is holding a donation drive to assist with Kilauea volcano relief efforts.

Donations can be dropped off in the front lobby of Keck’s Waimea headquarters building between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for May 28 when the offices will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday.

Items will be delivered to Pu’uhonua o Puna Info and Supply Hub as many times as needed during the donation drive. Household goods, safety supplies, clothing, personal items, outdoor gear and food items are requested. For a complete list, go to www.keckobservatory.org/calendar/donation_drive/1332.
